Divalicious Candi (a.k.a. Candice Ann Moraga) shares her full moon🌝 adventures & a major breakthrough with "Tesoro"🐾

Had such an amazing "date night" by the light of the full moon with "Tesoro" (Spanish translation: "Treasure" or "Oro" for short which means "Gold")- a local kitty I've been "seeing" regularly who I believe is Cool Hand Luke's wild-born son that he used to bring by as a kitten for food- he's been lurking around for years and we are finally at the point where I can brush him and cuddle him, and TONIGHT we had a MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH as he ran into my house for the first time! Reminded me of the first time Midnight ran into my house, after years of courting. (Last night I dreamt that I was calling for Midnight in the snow to come home and I woke up so disappointed that he IS home, in a box which carries his ashes.) Anyways, after Tesoro explored my humble abode, I gave him a can of tuna as a reward for his bravery! I've been leaving him all sorts of toys outside and have CONFIRMED that he is indeed VERY catnip responsive, and he also enjoys a good cat scratcher. I thought tonight was very successful in our bonding because he knows now that I am not trying to "trap" him and in fact I had a nice evening strolling down to the park, past the basketball court, singing as I swung on the swingset, climbing about the playsets, strolling past the ballparks and the community garden as well as the skatepark, and when I looped back around by my house, Tesoro popped out of hiding again to ambush me! So I think he finally gets that I'm a fellow "wild kitty" & I'm just trying to have a playmate. We hung out for a while before he sauntered off to explore his territory again. That was a BEAUTIFUL MOON🌝 tonight! Now, if this was a human gentleman, I'm sure he would have been having a meltdown and a tantrum as I wander about without any cell phone, doing the same as what I always did when I was growing up, albeit with my "wild wolf" as I get along with canines as well as felines (she was born in a den dug under a tree by the mom & used to accompany me through the woods, attacking bunnies and gophers on occasion). Honestly, I don't know why I should feel tethered to electronic devices and be tracked all over the place when I had at least this much freedom to roam as a child, and now I'm a full grown adult- I don't need a guy acting like my parole officer... just saying. This doesn't mean I'm not monogamous- plenty of wild animals are monogamous, but they return to each other just fine without having to text their whereabouts on a cell phone every 2 minutes. Just saying! Why should a female cardinal have more freedom than me? EXACTLY! As far as safety... I've lived in hella more dangerous neighborhoods, and the most dangerous thing prowling these streets might be a fox- but I'm friends with them, too. When I was growing up, I was never afraid to roam the woods or the neighborhoods by myself, without any cell phones. The thing I was MOST afraid of was actually GOING "HOME." I have a lot more fear of living with a cruel man than I would ever have of simply exploring my surroundings. So I just have never really had any fear of wandering about and that's probably why I've travelled so much. And in my travels, I've met a lot of women who seem so amazed that I'm not afraid to run around by myself, and even men make these remarks to me when they see me camping out by myself. But why would I be afraid when I genuinely believe that God determines when it is your time to die, and there's nothing you can do about this? I've known people who lived much "safer" lives & I still outlived them by many, many years... just because it was "their time." This may seem delusional to non-believers, but to them I say "If you know you're going to die no matter what you do, no matter how safe you play the game- the end result is the same... then why are you still so afraid?" On this note, I encourage anyone who stumbles across this late night musing to live your life "Sin Miedo" as we say in Spanish ("WITHOUT FEAR")- and to respect the independence & autonomy of your local wild-kitties, who you may ATTRACT with LOVE & AFFECTION, not TRAP with deceit & cunning because they are more CLEVER than you may presume, ahem! They CHOOSE to spend time with you because you treat them nice! (Don't give treats just to get something in return- give because you are GENEROUS & LOVING- they UNDERSTAND INTENTIONS!) If you want to touch them, wait for them to let you know it's ok- they will come to you and show you that they would enjoy a nice snuggle session, by purring & doing the kneading thing with their paws while rubbing on you. BE GENTLE if you want them to stay! RESPECT them when they get overstimulated & pull away- never force them! I earned this certificate for training on AI in the Era of Medical Coding. We discussed the record-shattering speed of AI adoption in comparison to other technologies, the layers of AI in healthcare, the difference between Agentic AI/Generative AI/Deep Learning/Neural Networks/Machine Learning/Classical AI, key drivers for AI adoption in healthcare, AI integrations impact, AI coding capabilities & performance outcomes, and AI assisted workflow. We delved pretty deeply into several areas such as the Denials Management "AI Arms Race" happening between the payers & clinicians/healthcare systems, the areas AI works best for (imaging diagnostics in particular), AI use in medical necessity & prior authorizations, coding assist tools & the use of AI in Clinical Documentation Improvement. Some of the other attendees had some great insights to offer from their own experiences with AI adoption from their own healthcare systems. The discussion about bias risks & "hallucinations" was fascinating, and the privacy & policy compliance risks certainly gave me something to ponder. Of course, this training would not be complete without some suggestions as to what the future of careers in coding will be evolving into; it's definitely the hot topic these days and coders always stay on top of their game! #Adapt #ContinualLearning #AI

I checked on them day & night as the mama was regulating the eggs' temperatures during frost warnings with her own loving body heat- today, both mama & papa robins are hunting nonstop in the yard for food; I learned that robin daddies are HIGHLY involved in providing for their families, and also in the care of teaching of survival skills to their babies! I expect to see the babies shadowing their father in the yard as they learn to hunt from him as soon as they are able to leave the nest! Once they get their eyes open, they begin intense "wing flapping" drills to build their pectoralis muscles as the approach of their "flight training" begins! Luckily (for them- not me- as I'm the one in charge of all the hedge trimming during the growing season, haha), I have LOTS of hedges for the babies to hide out in as their first attempts at flight are often quite wobbly, but unfortunately the kitties of the neighborhood often like to lurk in the hedges just waiting on them, soooo- I have been popping up at the edges of my yard to "head them off at the pass" with treats to stuff them into enough of a lazy "comfort zone" that they'll return from whereever they came to go into full on "slumber mode." Cats do most of their hunting at dawn and dusk when they have a vision advantage over their prey. I have to admit if I forget my glasses... I'm often not sure if I'm seeing a rabbit, possum, or kitty unless I'm paying attention to the movement patterns, but luckily I've got experience on my side and if anything, I've noticed that sharp vision actually keeps you paying attention to things which usually don't matter, but when your eyesight isn't as good, you become much better at paying attention to the things which really DO- your listening abilities improve, you notice behavior patterns better, you rely more on your intelligence & wisdom gained from previous experience, and most importantly, you don't dismiss your "gut instincts" which I believe are your most reliable danger detection systems. Understanding that your gut bacteria was probably amongst the earliest form of life on Planet Earth & that they are literally understanding what's going on with your body on a level much deeper than you could ever be consciously aware of, it behooves you to listen very carefully to what your guts are trying to tell you at all times. Luckily, I know these baby robins operate very heavily on instinct, as I watch their little beaks opening and closing & pray that God will watch over them, as He does for me. Amen!
